He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Darr and Thelma Lychlyter Darr; his siblings, Ronald "Bud" Darr, Roy Lee and Thelma Mae Bohner; and his son Ricky Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanie M. Denoyer; his children, Sheryl Darr, Jody Brown (Danny), Robin Dockus (Eric), Tammy Loera (Armando), Edie Ferris (Steve), Krissy Noel (Mike), Edwin Schultz (Mandy) and Terra Glass (Jon); his sister Violet Marie Buswell; and his pet Miss Molly.
