It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Jean Winfrey (Kankakee, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Elline Winfrey; and her brothers, Bobby Walker, James Munson and John Munson. She is survived by: her husband Richard Bobo; her daughter Deaven Tramain Winfrey; her siblings, Cornell Munson and Eirleen Mondane; her uncle Zannie Winfrey (Grace) of Chicago, IL; her aunt Coler Willis of Huntsville, Alabama; her nieces and nephews, Chevine, Phyllis, Jaynita, Kisha, Bobby, Lavell, Tarrence, Kyle, Caylon, Charles and Channing; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shaunitta, Quanitta, Rachel, Kiara, Tyronda, Cici, Angel, Shayonte, Nashay, Jerkita, Lakita, Sara, Genesis, Alyssa, Joseph, Ralph, Josiah, Jay, Anthony and Kaylin; Se'Yanna, Lala, Mario, Mason, Jaden, Jerimah Sterling Jr., Quaylin, Leo and E'sean. She is also survived by several cousins other relatives and friends.

When she moved to Urbana, IL she worked for Carle Foundation Hospital and did private duty care for patients.
