She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Ceraulo and Eunice Ceraulo (Goldman); her former husbands, John Cozzi and Jack Schmelebeck; and her brother-in-law Alan Schneider.

She is survived by: her husband Ralph Waterman of Kankakee; her daughters, Janine Niemiec (Dan Schneider) of Woodridge and Cheryl Manak (Ernie) of Downers Grove; her sister Patricia Schneider of Chicago; her grandchildren, Rebecca Niemiec (Brad Hilgen), Abigail Manak and Mason Manak; and her great grandchildren, Skylar Hilgen and Colton Hilgen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 PM at the Bourbonnais - Clancy-Gernon Funeral Homes, Inc. (295 Main St NW, Bourbonnais, IL 60914). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of God Worship Center (420 Cardinal Dr, Bradley, IL 60915).
