Thomas J. Grant Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas J. Grant (Kankakee, Illinois), who passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Grant and Elizabeth Grant; his siblings, Dana Grant and Donna Grant; his siblings-in-law, Kurt Berghouse, Dirk Martin, Nina Grant, Diana Grant and Suzanne Berghouse Graham; his in-laws, Richard and Irma Jean Berghouse; his nephew Kyle Chillemi; and his niece Marissa Grant.

He is survived by: his wife Jill Grant (Berghouse) of Kankakee; his siblings, David Grant (Terri), Patrick Grant of Bourbonnais, Jeffrey Grant (Beth), Matthew Grant (Kathy), Peter Grant (Lesley) of Kankakee, Kristin Grant, Denys Grant, Laurie Bass, Lisa Grant, Julie Martin, Martine Berghouse and Danita Swanson of Kankakee; his siblings-in-law, Pamela Grant of Kankakee and Kim Jensen (Jenny) of Yorktown, VA; his aunt Teddy Brosseau of Kankakee; and his uncle Tommy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society honoring friends and family, or to the family to donate to local Kankakee events which Tommy loved to attend.
