He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia and Harold; and his brother Bill Mohler. He is survived by: his wife Carol McKenna; his children, Andrew Mohler (Rebecca) and Katie Shomer (Chad Planeta); his grandchildren, Nicholas, McKenna Shomer, Laney, Leah and Logan Mohler; his siblings, Kate Tomasiewicz (John) of Milford, CT, Carolyn Kraft (Bill) of Kankakee, Lee Mohler (Norma) of Shelton, CT, Michael Mohler (Kathryn) of Western Springs, IL and Mary Jo Christiansen (Denny) of Kankakee; and his sister-in-law Dorene Mohler of Bradley, IL. He is also survived by many friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Tom's love of nature, the family wishes to choose and dedicate trees to be planted at Riverside Cancer Center or Limestone Park.
