Salm of Kankakee, Illinois, born in Bonfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her son Kenneth; her daughter-in-law Melissa Schafer of Rochester, MN; her daughter Karen; her son-in-law John Komperda of Trevor, WI; her sister Dorthea Buckman of Kankakee; and her grandchildren, Alexa Robbins, Hannah Robbins, John Komperda, Patrick Komperda, Vivienne Schafer, Blake Schafer and Evan Schafer.
