He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert W. Causer and Vivian M. Causer (Jepsen); his wife Bonnie Causer; his daughter Barbara Savoie; his grandchildren, Matthew Snapp and Kaylee DeLong; his great grandchild Callie Renchen; and his brother Mike Causer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Snapp of Kankakee and Jill Arseneau (William) of Manteno; and his siblings, Donna Ohrt of Herscher, David Causer (Mary) of Kankakee and Gerald Causer (Julie) of Pontiac. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (11478 IL-17, Bonfield, IL 60913, USA).
