William Hammond Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 30, 2022, at the age of 92, William Hammond of Kankakee, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Hammond and Flo 'Shepard Hammond; and his son Timothy Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Kohl of Kankakee; his children, David Hammond of Vermont, Dan Hammond (Jeanette) of Rockford, Michael Hammond (Jennifer) of Bourbonnais and Peggy Swanlund of California; his grandchildren, Nierika Nims, Julian Hammond of Massachusetts, Emily Prairie (Mason) of Bourbonnais, Megan, Matthew Schalk of Hoffman Estates, Lorelei, Liam Hammond of Rockford and John Swanlund of California; and his great grandchild Maya Nims of Massachusetts.
