He is survived by: his children, Kim Williams of Kankakee, IL, Joan Whitley of Bourbonnais, IL, Jelesa Whitley of Pembroke Township, IL, Yolanda Lewis of Bradley, IL and Brandon Whitley of Pembroke Township, IL; his sister Betty Eckford of Kansas City, MO; and his nephew Derek Eckford of Kansas City, MO.
