She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Tanner and Helen Tanner (Price); her siblings, Mona Rae Jones and Frank Tanner; her husband John Gough of Kansas; and her daughter Johnna Cottle (Bruce) of Kansas.

She is survived by: her daughters, Gale Wood (John) of Paris and Tammy Gough (Stewart) of Dallas; her granddaughters, Kendall Chisholm (Jeff) of Naperville, Andrea Halloran (Jared) of Paris, Hayley Almburg (Eric) of Kansas and Madelyn Munie (Mitchell) of Pocahontas; her stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Nay and Lindsay Edwards; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Connor Chisholm, Carson, Luke Halloran, Caroline, John Almburg and Lorelai Munie.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Edgar County Humane Association or to the Edgar County Shrine Club.
