Charles Barnett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Barnett of Karnak, Illinois, who passed away on March 28, 2026 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Barnett to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Sanders Barnett; his sister Ruth Barnett; his parents, James Barnett and Ruth Smith Barnett; and his grandson Chris Greer.

He is survived by: his children, Beverly Greer of Karnak, Julie Hinton (Robin) of Karnak and Alan Barnett of Karnak; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Hutchison of Belknap, Blair Anderson of Ullin and Jessi Green (Bret) of Karnak. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the First Baptist Church of Karnak Food Pantry.
