She was predeceased by: her parents, John Arthur and Alberta Anne Esch (Griffith); her husband Fred L. Hocking; her son John Charles Thomas; her brothers, Jerry L. Esch and John Robert Esch; and her sister-in-law Judy Esch.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Williams (Darren Hays) of Carmi, Dana Hampton (Dennis) of Salem and Jerry Hocking (Ellen) of Browns; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hocking (Alyssa), Amanda Hampton, Amy Evans (Chris), Rebecca Martorello (Matt), Jesse Hocking (Laura) and Justin Williams (Amanda); and her sister-in-law June Esch. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made in memory of Jane to the Keensburg Christian Church.
