It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn June Statler of Kempton, Illinois, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Bierschwal and Anna Bierschwal (Hargens); her spouse Carrol Jean Statler; her grandson Kyle Knox; and her siblings, Bernard, Edward Bierschwal and Louise Grojean.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Hitchens (Duane) of Piper City, Bruce Statler (Jennifer) of Dwight, Kim Knox (Ray Anderson) of Williamsville and Greg Statler of Cullom; her grandchildren, Kelsey Freeland (Andrew) of Cantrall, Olivia Statler of Greenwood, Wyatt and Jack Statler of Dwight; and her great grandchildren, Ayden, Audrey and Ashton Freeland.
