He was predeceased by: his mothers, Pearl Snider and Alta Snider (Trout). He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Wood; his children, Timothy Snider of Hoffman Estates, IL and Tamara Swanson (Daniel) of Alpha, IL; his grandsons, Mark Swanson (Abbi) and Matthew Swanson (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Sadie Swanson and Reid Swanson. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
