It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer L. Eilts of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Golden, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Eilts and Elsie Smock (Grunwalt); his wife Ada McClain; his daughter Pamela Eilts; his granddaughter Megan Eilts; and his siblings, Verna Anderson, Dorothy O'Dear, Henry and George.
He is survived by: his grandson Tyler Eilts; his great grandchild Adalynn Eilts-Hipkins of Calamus, IA; his sisters-in-law, Donna Cox and Martha Nyert of Kansas City, MO; and his caregiver Debbie Frail (Chuck). He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Henry County Humane Society, Kewanee.
