Gerald A. Grebner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald A. Grebner of Kewanee, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Grebner and Hildagard Grebner (Alig); and his siblings, Phyllis, Collette, John, Marvin and June.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean M. Leaf; his sons, Eric Grebner of Peoria, IL and Todd Grebner (Marcie) of Ooltewah, TN; his stepchildren, Matthew Jenkins (Beth) of Kewanee and Monica Nelson (Darrin) of Henderson, KY; his siblings, Russel Grebner (Nancy) of Metamora, Thomas Grebner of Metamora, Janet Rasler of Metamora, Victoria Dietsch of Cincinnati, OH and Susan Waggoner (Norm) of Pekin; and his grandchildren, Morgan Dockery, Kyle Dockery, Colten, Emily and Cassidy Grebner. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rux Funeral Homes (507 S Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
