She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond VanWassenhove and Nellie VanWassenhove (Streicker); her husband Donald "Sonny" Barnes; her son Rodney; and her sisters, Louise Orr and Mary Lou Shipley.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Barnes (Kim), Rick Barnes and Rhonda Roberts; her grandchildren, Niki (Scott), Daniel (Ariana), Jolene (Dustin) and Roxanne; her great grandchildren, Steven, Coleton, Braxton, Aubriella, Tinley and Isla; and her siblings, Shirley Frantzen and Ron VanWassenhove.
Memorials may be made to the State Road Community Church.
