JoAnn Stroup Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2025, at the age of 92, JoAnn Stroup of Kewanee, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Oakes and Mary Oakes (Duffy); and her siblings, Pat, Pete Oakes of Wyoming and Jean Walker Swartz of Kewanee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Louella Moreland (Doug) of Georgetown, TX and Lynette Manthe (Kevin) of Kewanee; her grandchildren, Joshua MacMurdo of Fallon, Jennifer MacMurdo of South Berwick, Dana Peterson of West Jersey and Melissa Moreland of Georgetown, TX; and her great grandchild Abby Peterson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Wyoming American Legion Auxiliary.
