He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Chick" Blachinsky and Elizabeth "Bette" O'Connor; and his great-aunt Kathryn "D. D." Kirley. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Parks; his daughters, Kara Yepsen (Marty), Jennifer Angerame (David), Tricia and PJ Heinle (Mark); his grandchildren, Natalie, Avery, Lila Yepsen, Matthew, Sophia Angerame, Sam, Nicholas and Chris Heinle; and his sisters, Mary Sue Redebaugh (John), Jane Cote and Kay Lindbeck (Todd). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Kewanee High School Athletic Hall of Fame or the Visitation School Foundation.
