John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Mercer and Minnie Mercer (Huffman); his wife Sandra "Sandi" Lepianka; his children, Nicholas Mercer (Bonnie), James Mercer (Elysa) and Jessica Mercer; his grandchildren, Talyn Mercer (Nick), Reigan Mercer, Nolan Mercer, Jasper Hepner, Noah Jones, Axel Jones, Winter Strand (James) and Oakley Croegaert (Jessica); and also, Sheryl Mercer, Janet Leverette and Jane Ainley (Curt). He was also cherished by three sisters.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Henry County Humane Society.
