She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Swickert and Kathryn Swickert (Frieders); her husband David M. "Dave" Vandemore; her sister Shirley Weber; and her brothers-in-law, Judd Weber and Doug Wilkins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Lemanski (William Shadden) of Kewanee and Rebecca Conner (Robert) of Kewanee; her sister Linda Wilkins of Donnellson, IA; her stepgrandchildren, Sarah Riley (T. J.), Aaron Conner (Jennifer), Joe Conner (Stef) and Cole Conner (Alexis Cruz); and her goddaughter Lynn Gibson of Donnellson, IA.. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Rux Funeral Homes (507 S Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443). Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Saint John Paul II Parish (406 W Central Blvd, Kewanee, IL 61443).
