She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Grant and Grace Grant (Youngfelt); her siblings, Leona Grant Smith and Robert Grant; her siblings-in-law, Sheila Grant and Robert Bayer; and her daughter-in-law Dawn Nelson Perkins.
She is survived by: her husband Stuart D. Perkins; her children, Michael, Dawn Perkins (Nelson) of Bloomington and Jeanne Hansen (Steven) of Meridian; her grandchildren, Steven, Maggie Perkins (Schnitker) of Bloomington, Ashley (Jason Van Note), Curtis Perkins of Bloomington and Sydney (Jacob Hansen); her siblings, Margaret Bayer (Peggy) of Roanoke and David; and her sister-in-law Linda Grant of Elmira. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rux Funeral Homes (313 Market St, Galva, IL 61434). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
