He was predeceased by: his parents, George Eble and Fayetta Eble; his siblings, Mary Loudenburg, Edythe Bosch of Connecticut, James "Jim" Eble, Donald "Buzz" and Stephen; and his brothers-in-law, Loren Loudenburg and Ralph Bosch.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Sturm; his sons, James Eble of Bradford and Greg Eble (Krista) of Kewanee; his grandchildren, Megan Washburn (David) of Kewanee, Haley Eble of Kewanee and Tyler Jackson of Kewanee; his son Dana Eble of Kewanee; his great grandchildren, Owen, Blakely and Jett; Judy Bachman (Joe) of Roanoke.
