She was predeceased by: her father Donald Benjamin Phelps, Sr.; her son Benjamin "Ben" Brown; her brother Donald Benjamin Phelps, Jr. (Boswell); her sister-in-law Connie Phelps; and her close friend Stan Rodak.
She is survived by: her mother Joan Phelps (Helslander); her son Tim Boswell (Missy); her brothers, Jim Phelps (Sherry) and Jerry Phelps; her grandchildren, Daniel Boswell, Kaitlynn Boswell, Carter Brown and Adilyn Brown; her stepgrandchildren, Dustin (Erin), Andrew Bucy (Jennifer), Robert Willey and Christina Willey; her uncle David Helslander; and her pet Bell of Kewanee. She is also survived by six step great grandchildren.
