Lucille Holmes Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Lucille Holmes of Kewanee, Illinois. Lucille, born on October 25, 1933, passed away on October 2, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lucille Holmes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emett N. Sullivan and Flora A. Sullivan (Taylor); her husband Robert D. Holmes Sr.; her daughter Trina Holmes; and her siblings, Clarence "Pete" Sullivan, Lester Sullivan, Robert Sullivan, Clifford "Sully" Sullivan, Alma Hartshorn and Pauline Whisker.
She is survived by: her sons, Bob Holmes (April) of Kewanee, Cliff Holmes (Anna) of Kewanee and Steve Holmes of Kewanee; her grandson Daniel Holmes of Kewanee; and her great grandchild Salem Holmes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Golnick-Kewanee Funeral Home (219 E 2nd St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Henry County Senior Citizens Center.
