She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter W. Bauer and Gertrude M. Bauer (Cook); her husband Robert E. VanDierendonck; and her sister Helen L. Mitchell. She is survived by: her sons, James VanDierendonck (LuAnn) of Moline and John VanDierendonck (Diane) of Robbinsdale, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Lisa VanDierendonck-Powers, Matthew VanDierendonck (Julie) and Michael VanDierendonck; and her great grandchildren, Henley, Kaelyn Powers, Everly, Gavin and Layla VanDierendonck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Abilities Plus or the Kewanee Animal Shelter.
