With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike Cernovich of Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cernovich and Anna Cernovich (Matusic); his spouse Shirley Brew (Hartman); and his siblings, Mary, George and Nick.

He is survived by: his children, Michael J. Cernovich, Lynn A. Peterson (Larry) and Kim S. Cernovich (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Michael C. Cernovich (Shauna), Daniel, Ryan Cernovich, Lori Ellis (Ben), Ricky LaFollette (Tara), Cindy Cernovich (Scott Mallery) and John Cernovich (Kirstyn); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Kolbie, Ace, Ella, Cruse, Mia, Knox, Kye, Dillon, Gunner, Adalynn, Rumi and Cyra.

Masks are required, please observe social distancing recommendations.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Episcopal Church.
