She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett McAffe and Marjorie McAffe; her former husband Gary VanStaden; her husband Robert Cook; her grandson Micha Burhans; and her siblings, Rose Guthrie and Robert Guthrie.
She is survived by: her children, Everett, Elsie, Josina, Sandra and Robert; and her siblings, Terry and Jerry. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (100 N Walnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
