He was predeceased by: his daughter-in-law Margret "Peggy" Harmon; and his siblings, John Bailleu and Dorothy Jean. He is survived by: his wife Patti of Kewanee; his children, Brenda Mannin (John) of Indianapolis, IN and Rob Bailleu (LeeAnn) of Kewanee; his stepdaughter Vicki Conner (Joe) of Galva; his grandchildren, Emmerson Mannin, Olivia Mannin (William Rulon) and Spencer Bailleu; his stepgrandchildren, T. J. Conner and Tori Conner; his sister Nancy Nordstrom (late David) of Galva; and his sister-in-law Jacki Bailleu of Texas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rux Funeral Homes (507 S Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Peace (28358 N 900th Ave, Kewanee, IL 61443).

The family asks that memorials be directed to the Church of Peace Improvement Fund.
