He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cooper and Elaine Cooper (Ensley); and his wife Frances Kay VanDeGenachte. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Carter (Bryan) of Kewanee and John Cooper (Carla Philhower) of Kewanee; his sister Debra Dykes (Rick) of Kewanee; and his stepgrandchildren, Craig Carter, Brittany Carter and Zara Philhower. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
