He was predeceased by: his mother Connie Marie Phelps (Subject); his grandfathers, John Durgin and Donald Phelps, Sr.; his aunt Linda Brown; his uncle Donald Phelps, Jr.; his cousin Ben Brown; his father-in-law Gary Treichel; and his pet Jinx.
He is survived by: his father Gerald Donavon; his children, Hailey M. Smith, Kaleb Treichel-Phelps and Korbin Phelps; his sister Aprille Purdy (Erik); his grandmothers, Virginia Durgin of Kanawha, IA and Joan Phelps; and his pets, Loki and Millie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home (219 E 2nd St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family to help with the purchase of a headstone for his resting place.
