She was predeceased by : her parents, William Alton and Lois Alton (Bone); her husband Ralph Long; her son Brad Long; and her siblings, Randal Alton, Gerald Alton, Murvil Alton, Donna Pringle and Barbara Spratt.
She is survived by : her children, Randy Long (Sheila) and Rhonda Short (John); and her grandchildren, Kyle, Tristin (Monica) and Justin. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
