He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin "Babe" Carver and Bertha Carver (Koopmann); his grandparents, John, Ivah Carver, Ben and Frances Koopmann; his siblings, Dana Carver and Daniel J. Carver; and his nephew Tyson Geoffray.
He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce Wiegmann (Duane) and Connie Geoffray (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Kyle Geoffray, Cory Geoffray, Alicia Henkel (Justin) and Travis Wiegmann; and his great-nieces, Olivia, Delaney Wiegmann, Faith and Willow Henkel. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Zieren Funeral Home (1111 Clinton St, Carlyle, IL 62231). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Carver may be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be received through Zieren Funeral Home.
