Steve Gilles Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Gilles of Kickapoo, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Donald" Gilles and Gladys Gilles (Doering); his siblings, Roger, Ronnie, Nancy Dalton and Carolyn Huffman; and his siblings-in-law, Glenn and Wanda Burdett.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Burdett; his children, Stephanie Koch (Marc) of Brimfield, Jennifer Kimble (Travis) of Germantown Hills and Michael Gilles (Molly) of Brimfield; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Clint), Brayton, Jake, Adrienne, Cadence, Levi, Veronica, Ezekiel and Elizabeth; his stepgrandchildren, Sabrina and Luke; his great grandchildren, McKenna and Asher; his sisters, Linda Beldon of Bartonville and Sharon Graf of Texas; and his pet Millie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's School of Kickapoo.
