He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie M. "Bud" McDaniel and Laura Belle McDaniel (Ward); his son Anthony McDaniel; and his brother Charles McDaniel. He is survived by: his sons, Matt McDaniel (Kelli) of Havana and Nicholas McDaniel of Springfield; his grandchildren, Ian McDaniel-Chambers of Memphis, Kayla Flinn (Brett) of Havana, Cole McDaniel (Amanda) of Havana and Ashton McDaniel; his great grandchildren, Brycen Flinn and Camden McDaniel; his brothers, Tom McDaniel (Patty) of Kilbourne, Kenneth "Leo" McDaniel (Leslie) of Kansas, Richard McDaniel of Omaha and Robert McDaniel (Lynne) of Kilbourne; and his caregivers, Karissa Wilkey and Katy Tonks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
