He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen and Louis; his siblings, Kathy Stock (Stas), Louis Zanillo and Robert Zanillo (Vicky); his wife Jeanne Ingram; and his children, Megan Anderson (Garrett) and Jon Zanillo.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (941 S Old Rand Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (135 S Buesching Rd, Lake Zurich, IL 60047). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery (1185 Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to either the Northwestern Memorial Foundation (Malnati Brain Tumor Institute) at nm.org/mikezanillo (https://www.nm.org) or the National Park Foundation at tinyurl.com/mrz-np-2026.
