He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Paris and Ruby Josephine Paris (VanTine); and his sister Peggy Paris. He is survived by: his former wife Janet E. Lozier; his wife Vickie Paris of Kirkwood; his daughters, Julia McVey (Mark) of Monmouth, IL, JoAnne Allison (Dan) of Wildwood, MO and Jera Cofield (Phil) of St. Charles, MO; his stepson Bryce Pico (Rachael) of Lebanon, MO; his grandchildren, Mitchell McVey, Maggie Gregory (Kevin), Eric Allison, Brad Allison, Ashley Cofield and Ryan Cofield; his great grandchild Gracie Belle Gregory; his stepgrandchildren, Vanessa Pico, Alexandra Pico, Genevieve Pico and Keith Pico; and his siblings, John Paris (Judy) of Arizona, Jerry Paris (Barb) of Arizona, Jane Watkins (Dean) of Florida and Janet Beckham (Lee) of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory (1007 North G Street, Monmouth, IL 61462). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be given to the James Paris Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
