Brenda Jacobs Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2025, at the age of 81, Brenda Jacobs of Knoxville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Vail Benson and Dorothy Ione Benson (Nagle); her former husband Dave Huddle; her husband Don Jacobs; and her sister Lana Lou Peterson (Frank).
She is survived by: her children, Randy Lee "Tex" Huddle of Knoxville, Carla Kay Friedland (Al) of Moline and Julie Ann Pedigo (Ty) of Galesburg; her stepchildren, David Jacobs (Lisa) of Highland and Shelly Curtis (Troy) of Galesburg; and her sister Linda L. Benson of Illinois. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A committal service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Knoxville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus, Illinois Cancer Center, or Bright Futures.
