He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen R. Gardner and Clara Jo Gardner (Scott); and his son Ty Gardner. He is survived by: his wife Lori Gardner of Knoxville; his daughter Tarryn Gardner of Peoria; and his sisters, Trisha Butler of Galesburg, Kathy Mitchell (Lance) of Knoxville, Karen Lamberson (Floyd) of Silver Lake and Karri Pendergast (Jim) of Galesburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America.
