He is survived by : his spouse Dale Lynn Smith; his children, Travis Batson of Knoxville, IL, Kasey Osborne (Jim) of Knoxville, IL, Chad Batson (Holly Maestas) of Lincoln, IL and Blake Batson of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Harly Osborne of Knoxville, IL, Mika Osborne of Knoxville, IL, Gavin Batson of Lincoln, IL and Charly Batson of Knoxville, IL; his sister Susan Wilson (J. R.) of Knoxville, IL; his niece Sara Batson; and his nephew Rob Purdy (Kelly). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
