He is survived by: his wife Judith Herman; his children, Charlene O'Grady (Tom), Cathy Gottrich (Lou), Charles Herman Jr. (Denise), Christina Aboswielem (Sam) and Craig Herman (Kim); his grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Stephanie, Hannie, Jennifer, Amina, Jessica, Craig Jr., Noah, Kelly, Brittany, Adam, Sara, Hannah, Emily and Courtney; his stepsons, Ron and Raymond Prokaski; and his siblings, Anne Hummel and Jack Herman (Bonnie). He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cletus Catholic Church (600 W 55th St, La Grange, IL 60525).
