It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Vaughan (La Grange, Illinois), who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Frank Begale; her son Frank Begale (Kathy); and her stepson Gary (Ruth). She is survived by : her children, Jerome Begale (Elizabeth), Barbara Zotti (Robert) and Mary Jo Serrurier (Richard); her stepchildren, Randy and Reina; and her sister Margaret Franzen (late Jack).

“I honestly have no idea how grandma had any patience with us. We would fight all the time, get hurt, get more hurt, complain, poop...whatever. She didn’t care. She was always ready with a level head and game of cards. She taught me how to be patient. It’s something I take into my life and job everyday. Being able to instantly forgive someone and move on the day after is something I don’t think I would be able to do without having her in my life. Sshe lived a beautiful life with my grandpa”
