John Joseph Gleason Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 28, 2025, John Joseph Gleason (La Grange, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph "Red" Gleason and Mary Gleason; his wife Kathleen "Kathy"; his children, Shawn (Michelle) and Mary "Mary Kate" Collins (Tim); his grandchildren, Isabella, Emilia, Maria Gleason, Caitlin, Erin and Martin Collins; and his sisters, Eileen Flynn (Pat), Nancy Daley (Michael) and Mary Weyer (Tom).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hallowell & James (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier (124 N Spring Ave, La Grange, IL 60525).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Food Pantry (Food Pantry.
