He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Reba; and his siblings, Nancy (Lee), Ron (Estelle), Jim (Karen) and Tom (Judy).
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, J. Richard Jr., Robert (Maggie), Andrew, Julia, Sarah and Carole; his grandchildren, Brooke (Brad), Teddy, Ellie, Katie (Bill), Megan, Hunter, Madeline, Autumn, Sarah and Lucius; and his great grandchildren, Ryder and Sawyer.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (124 N Spring Ave, La Grange, IL 60525). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
