She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband William Koukola; her children, Robin Koukola (Ken Valskis), Robert Koukola (Kimberly), Kimberly Schade (late Paul), Andrea Peters (Chris), Jason Koukola (Jackie) and Jennifer Koukola; her grandchildren, Jamie Roelofs (Matt Hendrickson), Kaitlin Roelofs (Shane Anderson), Patrick Koukola (Melanie), Kathleen Kubala (Wojciech), Paul Schade, Jr., Jana Schade, Henry Peters, Andrew Peters, Jonathan Koukola, Mackenzie Koukola, Hunter Koukola, Dakota Koukola, Lillian Shambo and William Shambo; and her great grandchildren, Gracie, Emma, William, Luke, Benjamin, Isabella and Harrison.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hitzeman Funeral Home & Cremation Services (9445 31st St, Brookfield, IL 60513). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
