He was predeceased by: his wife Colleen T. Walsh; his sisters, Joyce Schreiner (Brian) and Mary Alice Walsh; and his parents, John Walsh and Emily Walsh.
He is survived by: his children, Sean Walsh (Annette) and Shannon Teguh (Chris); his grandchildren, Kelsey, Katherine, Michael, Dominic and Ella; and his siblings, Judy Visockis, John Walsh (Therese) and Bill Walsh (Nancy).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Hallowell & James Funeral Home (1025 W 55th St, Countryside, IL 60525). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cletus Church (600 W 55th St, La Grange, IL 60525).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Audubon Society honoring his lifelong love of nature and birds.
