He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Barbara Magee, Theodore "Ted" and Diana Irish. He is survived by: his parents, Mark D. Irish and Patricia C. Irish (Magee) of LaHarpe; his sons, Aidan and Dylan Irish; his brother Matt Irish (Bre) of Raritan; and his grandfather Orval Magee of Raritan. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

A memorial fund has been established in his memory for his children.
