She was predeceased by: her parents, S. Dale Stout and Bonnie Stout (Conn); and her sister Sharon Cottrell. She is survived by: her children, Katie Mellinger of Middletown and Joey Snyder of Quincy, Illinos; her grandsons, Andrew "Cecil" Mellinger of Burlington and Lucas Mellinger of Middletown; her sisters, Teresa Swiney and Leah Kuntz; her stepmother Mary Lou Stout of Nashville, Tennessee; her stepsister Krista Williams; and her in-laws, Jim and Wilma Snyder.
A memorial fund has been established for the Burnside Christian Church or the Humane Society of McDonough County.
