He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Moon and Marie Linnea Peterson; his wife Louise Ann Blomster; and his siblings, Jean Marie Olson (David) and Milton.
He is survived by: his children, Philip Scott Peterson (Patricia) of Batavia, Illinois, Glenn Louis Peterson (Catherine) of Bothell and Ralph Alan Peterson (Sandra) of Cross Plains, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Coral (Sean), Aurora (Ali), Bryce, Destin, Patrick, Kendra, Alexander, Tryn (Jordan), Forrest (Rachel) and Erik (Gracie); and his great grandchildren, Althea and Elowyn.
