Jean Louden Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Louden of La Harpe, Illinois, who passed away on December 30, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis "Skimmer" Link and Eva Link (Laybourne); her husband Harry Franklin Louden; her daughter Beth Ann Nelson; her stepgrandson Jeff Land; and her siblings, Louise Boren, Bob Link, Luella Bowen, Donald "Soup" Link, Dorothy Kern, Wendell Link, Wayne Link and Leah Belle Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Louden (Dee) of Middleburg, Richard Louden (Sandy) of Camp Point, Illinois, Janice Louden of Palm Springs and Harry Louden (Sherry Carpenter) of LaHarpe; and her grandchildren, Abby Johns (Chris) of Cleveland, Adrienne Louden (Brandon Bennett) of Burlington, Abe Louden (Lyndsay Fraser), Alyse Louden (JJ Myers) of Burlington, Emily Louden of Ft. Madison, Katie Nelson of Olathe and Erin Neff (Josiah) of LaHarpe. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial fund has been established to the Southeastern Iowa Hospice House.
